Sunshine State 2010 Fall Classic
By David Reedy
We  would like to thank everyone that
attended the
USBGA sanctioned  Sunshine
State Fall Classic and for making it a great
show. As you know on Saturday we held a
Judge's training school. Above were all our
student Judge's and their trainer Annette
Maze. Just sitting on the sideline watching
everyone take the course I learned more in
those few hours than I ever expected.
Congratulations to all who took the course.
We have to apologize for not delivering the
surprise we promised. This was supposed
to be a double show that would have given
you double points for the price of one. Joe
McCall was going to be here also but a
medical emergency with a family member
prevented him from coming. We pray all
worked out for Joe and look forward to
seeing him at future shows.
Each time we host a show we try to make
it better than the last one. We learn from our
mistakes and try to never make them again.
We like to talk to everyone and get there
opinions about what they would like to see
improved. Our goal is to be the premier
show in Florida. So please e-mail us with
your thoughts and ideas on future shows.
Make your Florida shows the ones the
others are trying to catch up to.
This is the last time you will see the old
show ring. A new one is being built that will
look better and make things flow faster. We
are also building pens so you don't have to
bring your own pens or show out of your
trailer. They will be completely furnished
with feed troughs and hay feeders and fresh
water troughs. We won't even ask you to
clean them up afterwards. Also we will be
putting in bathrooms. And I hope all mothers
will like this....a playground for the kids.
Shows can run long and the kids get bored. I
seen some pretty whipped moms this last
time around. Not everything will be
completed by the February show but by the
fall of 2011 all should be in place.
For the February show we will have a show
book and we will start selling  ads soon.
When you advertise in the book the money
collected will all go to making the show barn
and your shows better. Also when you
advertise with us your ad will be put in
buyers hands. When people call us about
goats we will give them a show book along
with other information we give prospective
buyers. Thank you in advance for your
support.

The students inspect the goats before placing them in the order of
1st to 4th place. These goats came right out of the pasture. None
are show goats or maybe a couple are champions????
When you watch a goat show and see all the adults stressing if
their going to get that next point or that grand champion today.
Take a look at the first class and the top class. Our kids enjoying
showing goats. That's whats its all about.
One of the larger classes gave the student judge's a chance to see
what it is like to sort through so many fine goats.
